About this project
Recipes live everywhere except where you actually need them: buried under a blogger's life story, trapped in an Instagram caption, scribbled on a card. CookBook fixes that. Paste any link, caption or your own notes and it hands back a clean, structured recipe, translated and scaled to the number of portions you want.
Then it helps you cook it: built-in timers, an automatic shopping list and a pause button for when life interrupts dinner. The AI handles the boring parsing so you can just cook.
Inside the app
CookBook turns any recipe source into something you can actually cook from. Built end to end: AI parsing, a fast library, a guided cook flow, shopping mode and sharing.
AI recipe import
Paste a link from a blog, an Instagram or TikTok caption, or just your own notes, and the app parses it into a clean, structured recipe: ingredients, steps, timings and tags. It translates and scales to the number of people too.
Your recipe collection
Everything lands in a fast, searchable library with cook times, categories, favourites and shareable shortlists. Filter by time, by what you cooked before, or by tag.
Guided cook mode
Start guided cook mode: a running timer, ingredient and step checklists you tick off as you go, and serving-size scaling. Pause and resume whenever you need to, or flip the recipe into a shopping run with one tap.
